SMOPYC 2008 show that was held in Zaragoza, Spain last April, means a new step for both companies with the presentation of the new generation of tunnel and mining machines.
The launched Maquinaria Lorenzana’s new Hurón 5 truck mixer machine during the show has been a big success. The machine, that integrates MS18 Poclain Hydraulics wheel motors, responds to the objectives that final users were looking for, like versatility & mobility to overcome with the hard works that the machine will find out.
Our technicians knowledge of the extreme conditions that this kind of vehicles find and the deep collaboration between both companies teams make possible to meet the goal of height machine reduction and more clearance to solve the difficult conditions that the machine will find in the mines and tunnels.
On one side, Poclain Hydraulics with a long experience in the market, proposed for this project to use 4 MS18 2 speed motors, 2 100cc each. The final transmission gives to the machine enough power to match the worst conditions. The system integrates the Poclain Hydraulics power brakes system with VB valves to control the service and parking brake, that, together with a antiskid system done with a tandem variable pump, make the machine robust, precise and reliable.
In the other side, Maquinaria Lorenzana manufacturing smaller machines with international reputation, has developed this new machine Huron 5 to be able to follow the new emerging markets requirements. With a 5 m3 transport capacity and a gradeability of 30% fully loaded, together with their articulated reinforced steering and the drum able to make a perfect mix, allows the manufacturer to make a new step in the way of become leader in concrete transport for mining and tunnel constructions.
