1 - Pre-requisite:

Basic knowledge in Mechanics - Ability to read a cutaway drawing - General knowledge in Hydrostatics, especially the closed loop circuit.

 

 

2 – Purpose:

2.1 – Ability:

 

By the end of this training, the participant will be able to explain in detail the function of the POCLAIN HYDRAULICS Motors and their technology. He or she will be able, as well, to differentiate the various Motor Types, the Options available and to justify their adaptation to different requirements.

 

2.2 – Knowledge:

 

To do so, he or she will acquire the general knowledge about the structure and technology of the MS Range. The knowledge will be extended to the other Motor Ranges and available Options that will be explained by differences from the “MS Reference”.

1 - Pre-requisite:

General knowledge on hydrostatics and closed loop circuit  - POCLAIN HYDRAULICS Motors Level 1.

 

2 – Purpose:

2.1 – Ability:

By the end of this training, the participant will be able to integrate correctly the Poclain Hydraulics motors in various hydraulic circuits of mobile machines.

2.2 – Knowledge:

To do so, he or she will acquire the knowledge of the different possibilities to adapt Poclain Hydraulics to the special needs of each machine.

 

3 - Program:

  • Multi-Displacement Motors (Module MO-02)
  • Freewheeling / By-Pass (Module MO-10)
  • Exchange Valves (Module MO-11)
  • Valves for Excavators (Module MO-12)
  • Diagnosis Methodology (Module MO-13)

Anyone who needs to know the technology and principle of the Twin-Lock™ Circuit, Function and Components : Engineers, Salesperson, Technical Support…

 

1 - Pre-requisite:

Basic knowledge in Mechanics - Good knowledge in Hydrostatics, open and closed loop circuit - Knowledge of the POCLAIN HYDRAULICS motor technology.

 

2 – Purpose:

2.1 – Ability:

By the end of this training, the participant will be able to pre-select, through analyze, the proper Twin-LockÔ system from the various transmission requirements met in the mobile market and to pre-select, through calculation the components to meet the same requirements and to justify their adaptation.

2.2 – Knowledge:

To do so, he or she will acquire the knowledge about the structure and working principle of the Twin-Lock™ system and the Twin-Lock™ Circuits

1 - Pre-requisite:

Training Session "Twin-Lock™ System Level 1".

 

2 – Purpose:

2.1 – Ability:

By the end of this training, the participant will be able to :

  •  Design a Twin-Lock™  circuit, whatever the needs of a mobile machine.
  • Choose by calculation the main, components of a Twin-Lock™ system according to the needs of the machine and justify this choice.

 

2.2 – Knowledge:

To do so, he or she will acquire the knowledge about :

  • The Twin-Lock™ system components such as steering valves,  2C, By-pass.
  • The main Twin-Lock™ circuits which can be used on most common machines.

 

3 - Program:

  • Twin-Lock™ Level 2 (Technology - Components) (Module SY-03)

Sizing up a Hydrostatic Transmission

 

To whom:

Anyone (application engineers, salesmen, distributors or designers) who needs to  know how to dimension a hydrostatic transmission.

 

1 - Pre-requisite:

Basic knowledge in Mechanics - Good knowledge in Hydrostatics, open and closed loop circuit - Knowledge of the POCLAIN HYDRAULICS motor technology.

 

2 – Purpose:

2.1 – Ability:

By the end of this training, the participant will be able to analyze the customer’s needs and select the appropriate data, pre-select, through manual calculation the basic components (pump and motors) in order to reach the level of performances needed by the customer, use Poclain Hydraulics calculation softwares and analyze the results.

2.2 – Knowledge:

To do so, he or she will acquire the knowledge about :

  • The calculation formulas and method necessary to size up the hydrostatic transmission.
  • The basic rules leading to components’ choice.
  • The use of Poclain Hydraulics calculation softwares.

 

3 - Program:

  • Dimensioning of a Hydrostatic Transmission (Module AN-04)
  • Use of WinGPS (Module AN-07)
  • WinGPS - Results Analysis  (Module AN-08)
  • Use of VFG4 (Module AN-01)

Anyone (salesmen, buyers or designers) who needs to understand the functions and the technology used in the SmartDriveÔ Premier electronic system.

 

1 - Pre-requisite:

Good knowledge in hydraulic closed loop circuit. Basic knowledge in mobile electronic controls ( e.g. “Introduction to Mobile Electronics"  from the PHTC).

 

2 – Purpose:

2.1 – Ability:

By the end of this training, the participant will be able to explain the function of the SmartDrive™ Premier system and to recommend the right functions on a standard machine.

2.2 – Knowledge:

To do so, he or she will acquire the knowledge about  the functions given by a SmartDrive™ Premier system,  the different softwares and the components of the system

By the end of this training, the participant will be able to explain the SmartDrive™ Off Road System working principle, recommend the most suitable solution in electronic traction control, set the parameters with the hand held terminal or with PHASES™ software

2.2 – Knowledge:

To do so, he or she will acquire the knowledge about :

  • The functions performed by the SmartDrive™ Off Road System
  • The software offer
  • The system components

By the end of this training, the participant will be able to explain the functioning and the technology of the motors, disassemble and reassemble these components without any help, analyze the conformity of the components, identify the different parts of a component in order to make the right order.

2.2 – Knowledge:

To do so, he or she will acquire the knowledge about :

  • The structure and the technology of the MS Motor Series (Level 1).
  • The physics basics.
