Introduction to Hydrostatics

To whom:

Anyone who needs to understand hydrostatics, especially within POCLAIN HYDRAULICS fields of activity.

 

1 - Pre-requisite:

None. No need to have any technical background to join in this training.

2 – Purpose:

2.1 – Ability:

By the end of this training, the participant will be able to explain the meaning , in detail, of : “ world leader in hydrostatic transmission based upon high torque low speed cam motor”.

2.2 – Knowledge:

To do so, he or she will acquire the basic technical vocabulary used at POCLAIN HYDRAULICS and its physical meaning. The knowledge will go as far as understanding the function of the hydrostatic transmission and its application

  • Physics Basics (Module FG-02)
  • Practice on Benches
  • Applications (Video)
  • Mobile hydrostatic transmissions market (Module FG-10)

3.2 – Procedure:

The teaching is based upon practice through exercises. The absorption of the numerous information is facilitated by the image with different media, Slide Shows’ Animations and Hands-on practice.

Closed Loop Circuit

 

To whom:

Anyone who needs to know the technology and detailed function of the closed loop circuits : Engineers, Salesperson, Technical Support…

 

1 - Pre-requisite:

Basic knowledge in Mechanics. - General knowledge in Hydrostatics and in basic hydraulic components.

 

2 – Purpose:

2.1 – Ability:

By the end of this training, the participant will be able to :

  • Explain the following hydraulic functions : charge, exchange, by-pass, free wheel, flow divider, parallel circuit / series circuit, hydrostatic brake.
  • Explain the function of hydrostatic pumps and control.

2.2 – Knowledge:

To do so, he or she will acquire the knowledge about :

  • The hydraulic components mounted on closed loop circuits.
  • The differences between open loop circuits and closed loop circuits, their advantages, their limits.
  • The applications on which a closed loop circuit is mounted.

 

3 - Program:

  • Hydrostatic Transmissions on Mobile Machines  (Module FG-10)
  • Hydraulic open Loop Circuits  (Module FT-06)
  • Hydraulic closed Loop Circuits  (Module FT-02)
  • Hydraulic Functions (Module FT-07)
  • Pumps and their Control system   (Module PM-01)

3.2 – Procedure:

Introduction to Mobile Electronics

 

To whom:

Anyone who needs to understand mobile electronics and who will use embedded systems : application engineers, field engineers, salespersons or  purchasers.

 

1 - Pre-requisite:

Basic knowledge in  electricity, computers and automated systems - Ability to read an electrical diagram. Ability to use a multimeter.

 

2 – Purpose:

2.1 – Ability:

By the end of this training, the participant will be able to :

Explain the basic functioning of the main parts of  en electronic embedded system used on POCLAIN HYDRAULICS transmissions. (SmartDrive™ systems components will be explained in another training session).

2.2 – Knowledge:

To do so, he or she will acquire the basic knowledge on embedded systems : electronics, computers, automated systems.

He or she will know the methodology to analyze diagrams, to use specific tools.

 

3 - Program:

  • Electronic Circuits (Module FG-12)
  • Programmed System of Command (Module FG-13)
  • Environment of a System of Command (FG-14)
  • Data Transmission (Module FG-15)
  • Regulation (Module FG-16)
  • Protection (Module FG-17)
  • Practice

Universities and Schools of Engineering

 

To whom:

To the students who need to know hydraulics and hydrostatic transmissions (3rd or 4th year).

 

1 - Pre-requisite:

Basic knowledge in Mechanics - Ability to read a cutaway drawing - General knowledge in Hydraulics, especially in hydrostatics.

 

2 – Purpose:

2.1 – Ability:

By the end of this training, the participant will be able to explain the functioning of the hydraulic closed loop circuit, the functioning of pumps and high torque motors. He will be also able to size the different components  of a hydrostatic transmission according to specific needs.

2.2 – Knowledge:

To do so, he or she will acquire the knowledge on the different applications, the structure and the technology of the high torque motors, the way they have been designed.

 

3 – Program:

  • Hydrostatic Transmissions on Mobile Machines (Module FG-10)
  • Hydraulic Closed Loop Circuit (Module FT-02)
  • Dimensioning of a Hydrostatic Transmission (Module AN-04)
  • Design and Dimensioning of a hydraulic Motor (Module AN-05)

3.2 – Procedure:

The teaching is based upon image with different media, Slide Shows, Animations and real Parts. The absorption of the numerous information is facilitated by practice through exercises.
